The Company
UniKey Technologies Inc. (UniKey) is a mobile applications and security services company founded on the concept of bringing today’s wireless, mobile and internet technologies to the access control mass market. By uniquely combining existing technologies, UniKey has developed a proprietary and patented “hands free” Passive Keyless Entry system that can be easily integrated into any access control system to replace keys, codes, and passwords.
Our Founder
UniKey was founded in early 2010 by President Phil Dumas. Prior to founding UniKey, Phil gained much of his access control experience as the V.P. of Product Development with Sequiam (A biometric access control company). While at Sequiam, Phil helped develop and launch the first mass-market biometric residential deadbolt, the SmartScan (pictured below), in conjunction with Black & Decker (Kwikset). Mr. Dumas holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
Development Team
The company is further staffed by three other engineers, and a web/app developer. Together the five team members have almost 100 years of experience in developing advanced technology solutions in the security, wireless, embedded and semiconductor markets.
